Makes about 10 Bites

Your mom probably ate prunes. Your grandmother definitely ate them, and guess what? You should be eating them too! Not only do prunes help to keep you regular, they also are amazing for keeping your bones strong. They may even help prevent cognitive decline. And while prunes taste sweet, they are actually low on the glycemic index.
You might think you’re not a fan of prunes, but I promise you’ll love them in these tasty little bites. And you can enjoy them knowing that they’re secretly helping to keep you healthy!
Longevity Bites
6 prunes, diced
1/3 cup Rice Krispies cereal
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup almond butter, at room temperature
2 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup hemp seeds or sesame seeds
Combine all the ingredients (except seeds) in a bowl and mix well with a spatula. Cover and chill for 10 minutes. Use a tablespoon to scoop mixture, form into balls, and then roll in hemp or sesame seeds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
