It’s almost the Super Bowl, which is one of the biggest food days of the year. I’ll be totally honest, I don’t really watch the game, but I love all the fanfare and commercials. And I always love another reason to celebrate!
Well folks, here we are, at the very end of 2016. I’ve been feeling a bit melancholy over the loss of so many amazing people this year: Prince, George Michael, David Bowie, Alan Thicke, Harper Lee, Alan Rickman, Florence Henderson, Sharon Jones, Leonard Cohen–really, the list goes on and on and seems endless. It is easy to feel a bit blue this time of year, especially if you feel like you haven’t reached your full potential or achieved those goals you so dutifully wrote down this time last year.
Well friends, I saved this gift guide for last because it’s loaded up with the stuff that I would most want to receive as a gift. This one was so much fun to put together. I hope you find some great picks for your kids, friends, or simply your inner baker. Go forth and gift!
If you know me, you know I’m a beauty geek. I love trying new products, whether they’re from the drug store or the latest boutique. Keep your glam friends or teens looking their best with these fun finds. Pick up something for yourself while you’re at it–you deserve it dollface!
It’s tough to shop for fitness buffs because they tend to buy new gear when they need it. I tried to gather up some fun items that your sporty peeps may not have seen before. And if you’re looking for a little fitspiration yourself, I won’t tell if you snap these up for yourself!
Hey folks–here we are, at the start of December and I know you probably feel like I do–as though someone has hit the fast forward button on life. There’s just too much to do! On top of your regular full plate, there are more social obligations, school functions and all that gift buying to do. I’m here to help you with at least one of them–the gifting.
This simple and delicious weeknight dinner comes together quickly and is one of my favorites from Eating in Color.
As summer comes to a close, my kids are super excited about heading back to school. It’s a time to reconnect with friends, explore their new classrooms and of course, show off some fun new gear.
Hi Friends–I hope you’ve been having an amazing summer! It’s been hot and humid here in New York City and I’ve been doing everything I can to not use the stove or oven.
Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you all have wonderful celebrations planned with family and friends, or a relaxing day at the beach. That’s where we’re headed. When we come home, I know we’ll want to cool off with one of these vegan tri-color pops. Make a batch this morning and they’ll be ready this afternoon. Your kids can help by adding ingredients and turning on the blender–with supervision. Enjoy!
