Brooklyn Food Conference

I took part in a very interesting panel today at the Brooklyn Food Conference. I never knew that the topic of Eating for a Healthy Pregnancy could be so charged. But when the other panelists advocate a diet of raw liver and foods rich in saturated fat versus a diet high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats, the door is open for a hot discussion!

For anyone who attended today's panel and would like the PowerPoint presentation, click here. It includes a list of seafood high in DHA omega-3 as well as sources of caffeine, which are both great to have on hand.
