Baby's almost here! What's in my bag for the hospital?

Our third baby is due to arrive any day now, which is so exciting! I've loaded up my Serena & Lily Pacific Tote with goodies that will help me get through labor and feel and look better on the other side.

What’s in the bag:
Aiden & Anais swaddle blanket

Why: These swaddles are of course great for baby once you bring her home, but in the hospital you can use them to cover up while breastfeeding and to make those horrible hospital pillows a bit less scratchy.

Diptyque room spray

Why: Hospital rooms don’t always smell so great, so I always bring a room spray to remind me of home and fresh air. I love this fig scent and it lasts a long time.

MamaMio Tummy Rub Butter

Why: I’ve used this for all three of my pregnancies and haven’t had a stretch mark yet! The light scent is heavenly and it really helps keep skin moisturized, which helps it bounce back after baby.

Kind Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt bars

Why: After labor you are STARVING! And it often takes a while to get any food brought to you. The combo of the protein from the nuts, the dark chocolate and the sea salt really hits the spot.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

Why: Labor is a marathon and let’s just say that you need a little help looking like yourself after pushing for hours. Before your partner starts snapping pics for Facebook, rub on some of this lightweight foundation.

Bag of Dried Cherries

Why: A nice hit of tart-sweetness make these a perfect postpartum treat. Plus, they contain anti-inflammatory properties that might help my sore muscles recover more quickly after labor.

Clif Shot Bloks in Margarita flavor

Why: These are for when you’re on your way to the hospital. They’re really for endurance events, but what could be more of an endurance event than labor? The tasty gummy blocks provide some of the electrolytes that you’ll lose during labor.
